We are proud to share that East Holmes Local Schools has earned a 3.5 on the 2023-2024 Ohio School Report Card. Several schools in the district earned strong individual ratings as well. Chestnut Ridge Elementary, Flat Ridge Elementary, and Mt. Hope Elementary all received 4.5 stars, while Walnut Creek Elementary earned a 5-star rating. The district also performed well in “Gap Closing,” with all schools earning 4 or 5 stars. Early literacy scores were notable, with four elementary schools receiving 5 stars and two earning 4. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Keep yourself and your family safe with the following tips:
1. Protect your personal information with strong passwords.
2. Change your passwords often.
3. Promptly install software updates, especially when they include important security upgrades.
4. Set up two-factor authentication. This adds an extra layer of security.
5. Back up your personal data on external hard drives.
6. Be cautious with downloads. Only download apps, software and files from reputable sources.
