Thanks to the Holmes Soil and Water Conservation District for providing East Holmes students hands on learning yesterday at the Annual 5th grade farm tour! Students rotated through stations with topics that included -- farming, forestry and maple syrup production, wildlife, soils, stream study and a tour of Walnut Creek Planing.

There are important changes to the end-of-year calendar. Students' last day of school will now be Wednesday, May 24. Students WILL NOT report to school on Thursday, May 25.
On Thursday, May 25, teachers and classified staff will have a workday and attend a staff recognition program. On Friday, May 26, teachers will have a dedicated workday, and there will be an English Language Arts curriculum professional development.
