Berlin Elementary’s third graders celebrated their annual 3rd Grade Literacy Day, and this year’s theme brought creativity, teamwork, and learning together unforgettably: Literacy & LEGOs.
Throughout the morning, students and parents traveled from station to station, each designed to highlight an important reading or writing skill, all through the world of LEGO building. Laughter, bright colors, and imaginative designs filled the classrooms as parents and students worked side-by-side, reading directions, solving challenges, and building creations that connected directly to literacy standards.
Each station blended hands-on learning with key literacy skills, allowing students to see how reading and writing support real-world problem solving. Teachers guided families through activities while celebrating the leadership, creativity, and collaboration that Berlin Elementary is known for.
Berlin Elementary extends a special thank-you to our third-grade teaching team, our supportive parents, and our enthusiastic students for making Literacy & LEGOs Day such a success.
At Berlin Elementary, we’re building strong readers… one brick at a time.
